Speech 16 is a unique blend of speech and acting. This course studies the principles of interpretation of literature from all the major genres (prose, poetry, drama) as well as the techniques of performance. In groups, students will create, stage, and perform a reader’s theatre incorporating each of the major genres of literature. (Co-numbered Tha 16)
