Feel it in my bones
Maria Nikolis
I, Maria Nikolis, am most interested in exploring new and old photographic processes, and I tend to thrive off happy accidents while doing so. I enjoy the physicality of a 4x5 camera, and the weight of a hasselblad draped around my neck. To me photography is an endless adventure, and I love the voyage. Over the last two and half years my photography has been awarded, published, and exhibited in local galleries of the Ventura County area. In 2011, my most recent portrait series titled "Transfers" was awarded theMoorpark College Art Department and Photography Department Scholarships, and was selected in October for Mac_on_Campus.comand their monthly featured student of the month award that will be featured in the April 2012 issue of Resource Magazine. Currently attending Moorpark College, I am working toward furthering my studies to achieve a BFA Degree in Photography. To contact me or to view more of my work please visit my website at:

Shelby Schulz
Shelby Schulz has been shooting since 2008, focusing on shooting models. In order to further her education in photo-shoots, she will be taking classes in hair, make-up, and clothing & set design. This will help with setting up intricate and visually appealing photo-shoots for her portfolio. Shelby picked up her eye for shooting from living with her mom, who loved shooting and exposed her to the beauty of hair, make-up, and dressing well. In tribute to her mom and best friends, Shelby shoots to expose the beauty in "flaws".
