Trade Publications

The content in trade magazines is aimed at professionals within a specific field or trade, for example, librarians, teachers, retailers, real estate agents, and others. Trade magazines contain articles about the condition of the industry, updates and development, job notices and industry related advertising. The articles are generally written by people from the industry and use specialized jargon of the discipline.

Note: These magazines are not considered popular and it's easy to confuse the two. Check with your instructor or your librarian if you have questions about sources you are using.
