How Can I Get More Results?

Let's say you are searching for articles on cyberbullying and teenagers in one of the databases. Your search results list is small. In this case, to expand your search and get more articles, you might want to use the following:

Use a truncation symbol

e.g.: teen* will retrieve records with teen, teens, teenager and teenagers.

Use a wild card symbol e.g.: wom?n retrieves woman or women
Wom?n OR Divorce will find all records that have (women or woman) and records that have divorce.
Add synonyms to your search with OR

e.g.: teen* OR adolescents OR youth (this will broaden your search and will provide more results)

Cyberbullying AND (teen* OR adolescents OR youth)
