Primary Sources - Periodical Databases

The following library subscription databases provide a selected number of results from primary sources:

2. Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center
3. Health and Wellness Resource Center
  1. For databases that don't contain primary sources as a separate category, try including in your search one of the following keywords depending on your topic: speech, letter, diary, treaty, painting, memoir.
  2. Look for magazine, journal or newspaper articles from the time period you're researching if the database covers that time period. If the database does not cover your time period, check some of the printed indexes in the library collection. Please ask the librarian which index or reference materials would be more appropriate for your topic.
  3. Ask for help at the Reference Desk.
