Media

Media is a term used to cover a variety of non-print formats such as audiotapes, CDs, DVDs, CD-ROMs, 16mm films, slides, and so forth. In some libraries, these materials are kept in a separate collection or separate department called AV (audiovisual).

Moorpark College Library provides access to a collection of music CDs, books on CD, audiotapes and videos (VHS and DVD). All of these materials may be located by searching the Library Catalog. More will be discussed about the Library Catalog in module 3.

  • to find DVDs or videotapes on your topic
  • to enjoy your weekend listening to music
  • to study and practice learning a new language
  • enhance your presentations
