What is Microsoft Certification and are they offered at Moorpark College?  Yes, the CNSE Program has the largest enrollment of Microsoft “Certification Prep” courses in Ventura County.  The Microsoft Certification Prep program offers multiple Microsoft certifications, based on different areas of technical expertise. To attain these certifications, a candidate must pass a series of exams within the program. The current generation of certifications are Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).  See Microsoft.com for details

Moorpark is also a Microsoft Information Technology Academy and offers students many supplemental course offerings to supplement their in class instruction using Virtual Labs, Simulations, Video, Lecture notes, etc at no additional cost thru an NSF Grant.  This is part of the Microsoft E-Learning curriculum and is free for students who request it from their CNSE instructors. What is Cisco Certification?  The CCNA validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot enterprise level router and switched networks. This includes design implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. What is Comptia Certification?  CompTIA is the leading provider of vendor-neutral IT certifications worldwide, and employers depend on CompTIA certifications to make hiring decisions. Earning certifications shows not only that you have the right knowledge and skills to do the job, but also that you are dedicated to your IT career.
