Anthropological Interests

As a broadly trained anthropologist, my research interests are diverse and interdisciplinary. My primary research foci include human adaptations to the natural and cultural world, sociocultural interaction and identity, social inequality, emergent complexity, and chiefdom/tribal societies. I have conducted field and laboratory work in Arizona, California, Illinois, Oklahoma, Texas, Wisconsin and Germany
