All about Colleen
I am an archaeological anthropologist interested in human adaptations to the natural and cultural realms. I got my start in archaeology at Beloit College, and continued my work at UCLA where I received my Ph.D. in 2000. I have conducted fieldwork in Germany, as well as Arizona, California, Illinois, Texas and Wisconsin. I am currently a tenure-track faculty member in the Life Sciences Department (Anthropology and Biology) at Moorpark College in Ventura County, California. I love teaching, and I have taught students from all types of educational institutions. At Moorpark College my colleague Andrew Kinkella and I will continue, and build upon, the AA degree in Archeology that was started by Robert Lopez, Professor Emeritus.
