Purpose

As a public California Community College, Moorpark College is devoted to the democratic idea of making higher education accessible to all. The semester schedule of classes and the college catalog are produced through this office in conjunction with each College Division and the College Curriculum Committee. The Office of Student Learning exists to serve students, faculty, and the staff at Moorpark College.

Note to instructors: Simplify the textbook adoption process! The bookstore has recently subscribed to an online "books-in-print" that will enable you to get accurate as well as current information on textbooks you may wish to adopt for the upcoming term. By logging on to www.booksinprint.com you will receive real-time updates on all books presently available. To receive sign-on information please call or E-mail Steve Grimm , Jerry Purcell or Gaynor McGhee.

  • COURSE OUTLINES -- Divison offices maintain copies of current course outlines under their division. The Office of Students Learning also has copies.
  • CURRICULUM -- Please see Karin Leyba for information regarding curriculum. NOTE: Any items going to the Curriculum Committee must be submitted to Karin Leyba by 12 noon the previous Monday, before the Technical Review meeting. If it is not received by that time, it will not go on the agenda.
  • ROOMS -- For classroom requests, see Karin Leyba AFTER approval by the appropriate Dean. For requesting the Campus Center or its conference rooms, see Leanne Colvin. For requesting the Performing Arts, see Paulette Cox.
