Baseball splits with Bakersfield. In the first game Jimmy Auger pitched 8 2/3 innings to get the 7-3 win over the Renegades. Jonathan Blandin went 2 for3 with 2 RBIs. In the second game, Bakersfield got a little revenge by defeating the Raiders, 2-14.

Baseball defeats East LA. The Raiders defeated visiting East Los Angeles College, 13-2. Jim Auger pitched 6 innings allowing 2 run and giving up 5 hits to get the win. Matt Toczynski went 4 for 5 with a solo homerun. Ryan Cobb, Bryan Leitner, and Dustin Kahle each went 2 for 5.

Baseball at 2nd Bakersfield Tournament. The Raiders went 1-2 at the Bakersfield Classic. In the first game, the Raiders were beaten by Porterville College, 1-5. Porterville is coached by former Raider Del Marine. In the second game, the Raiders picked up a win against San Diego Mesa College, 14-10. Ryan Cobb caught 2 TD passes. In the last game, the Raiders were defeated by the hosts, Bakersfield, 1-8.

Baseball defeats Long Beach. The Raiders defeated visiting Long Beach City College, 3-1. In a game that was a make-up from the Bakersfield Tournament, Jim Auger pitched 8 and 2/3 innings allowing 1 run and giving up 5 hits. Ryan Cobb drove in 2 runs going 2 for 3.

Baseball goes 1-2 in WSC Tournament. In the opening game the Raiders were defeated by Glendale College, 5-6, in the 10th inning. The Raiders had bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th, but could not capitilize on the situation. In the second game, the Raiders defeated rival LA Valley College, 8-0. In the final game of the tourney, the Raiders fell to College of the Canyons, 2-13.

Baseball opens the season. The Raiders traveled to Bakersfield College for the season opener. In the opening game, the Raiders and College of the Sequoias played to a 5-5 tie after they reached the tournament time limit. In the second game, the Raiders ran into one of the State's top teams in Goldenwest, 1-22. In the last game, the Raiders were leading Long Beach City College, 2-0, before rain halted the game and was resumed at Moorpark 10 days later.

Baseball takes on Oxnard this week-end before entertaining Cuesta and Ventura Colleges.
